Willie's LoRa Work

A Node Labs project exploring low-power, long-range radio networks, practical sensors, and resilient local infrastructure.

What this is

LoRa is a wireless radio technology designed for small packets of data over long distances using very little power. Willie's work is about making that tangible: building, testing, and documenting what a local LoRa setup can do in and around Node.

Why it matters

This project fits the Node Labs pattern: take infrastructure that usually stays abstract, put it in people's hands, and learn from the real constraints. Range, power, antennas, terrain, gateways, sensors, and useful messages all become things people can see and test.

Current direction

The page can grow as the work becomes more concrete: hardware notes, gateway locations, sensor ideas, build photos, range tests, and links to code or dashboards.
